What we do here at QES is join your development team in a collaborative way for the purpose of defining the most appropriate land use entitlement path.

Over at Dictionary.com, they tell us that the abbreviation QED “is an acronym for the Latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum, a fancy way to show off you just logically proved something.”

Moreover, the entry continues, by the early 1900s, the abbreviation “branched out of math and philosophy into a more general term, kind of like ‘therefore,’ ‘so it follows,’ ‘obviously,’ ‘thus,’ ‘boom, there it is.’”

We like this phrase: quod erat demonstrandum. We like what it entails and what it suggests. We also like that it starts with the letter Q, since it makes those of us here at QES Inc. feel like kindred spirits alongside those who continue — every day — to prove something.

What we do at QES Inc. is a little bit like art and a little bit like science.

The science comes in the form of managing tremendous amounts of data and information. This material arrives in many forms and from many clients. We take all that information and plan a course of action that will see our partners through the sometimes byzantine world of land use laws and regulations.

The art comes in knowing where and when to act and doing so expeditiously, efficiently, and expertly. The art also comes in the form of public presentations in which we stand in for our clients and answer questions from government officials and local residents.
